NOAA Fisheries is responsible for the stewardship of the United States of America’s ocean resources and their habitat. NOAA fisheries provides sound science and an ecosystem-based approach to management with the following aims:
- Productive and sustainable fisheries
- Safe sources of seafood
- Recovery and conservation of protected resources
- Healthy ecosystems
NOAA Fisheries assesses and predicts the status of fish stocks, sets catch limits, ensures compliance with fisheries regulations, and reduces bycatch. Eight fishery management councils are key regional partners in U.S. fishery management.

The Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) was established by international convention in 1982 with the objective of conserving Antarctic marine life. This was in response to increasing commercial interest in Antarctic krill resources, a keystone component of the Antarctic ecosystem and a history of over-exploitation of several other marine resources in the Southern Ocean. CCAMLR is an international commission with 26 Members, and a further 10 countries have acceded to the Convention.
Based on the best available scientific information, the Commission agrees a set of conservation measures that determine the use of marine living resources in the Antarctic.

Anchor Lab develops leading edge remote electronic monitoring (REM) solutions to combat the expanding challenges of global fisheries surveillance and to support sustainable fishing. As a result of close collaborations with a broad range of fisheries control and research agencies, Anchor Lab’s REM system is highly customizable and configurable. The system can fit individual vessel types, meet the diverse needs of individual fisheries and support different monitoring strategies. Anchor Lab's solutions cover the end-to-end data process, from automated data collection all the way through to automatic fish detection and data analysis of fishing activities and on-board fishing procedures.

Ai.Fish is a software company harnessing the latest Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning research and technology to address problems in the marine space.
Our current focus is developing a computer vision platform that can analyze video from Electronic Monitoring systems to speed up the most time-consuming parts of the review process. This work requires us to solve the problems of recognizing fish or bycatch, tracking fish, and identifying fish species. Ai.Fish also has expertise in Edge AI, or AI algorithms processed locally on-board the vessels, eliminating the need for large data transfers to the cloud and enabling near real-time reporting.

AIS has more than three decades of experience supporting government, the private sector, and academia. Experts in designing and managing complex field sampling and monitoring programs with 24/7 operations and logistics support dedicated to the collection of high-quality environmental data.
AIS is known for delivering high-quality, performance-based professional, scientific, and technical services in coastal communities including providing clients with observers, dredge inspectors, marine biologists, oceanographers, marine mammal experts, data analysts, environmental technicians, project managers, technical writers, vessel crew, administrative staff, and recruitment services.

Archipelago is a provider of marine resource management products and services with more than 40 years of experience. We work with a diverse array of clients, including the fishing industry, NGOs, and regulators to help develop a cost-effective solution for marine resource sustainability.
Established in 1978 and headquartered in Victoria BC, our team of experts work with clients around the world to develop and implement sustainable practices by providing an objective, third-party approach that meets the needs of all stakeholders. Archipelago has regional offices in Canada, the United States, Asia Pacific, and Europe.

The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is the Australian Government agency responsible for the efficient management and sustainable use of Commonwealth fish resources on behalf of the Australian community.
We manage and monitor commercial Commonwealth fishing to ensure Australian fish stocks and our fishing industry are viable now and in the future. By doing so, we are aiming to make sure that healthy and fresh local seafood is available and affordable to all Australians for current and future generations.
Through our foreign compliance functions, we work together with other Australian Government agencies and our international counterparts to deter illegal fishing in the Australian Fishing Zone.

Integrated Monitoring develop cloud-based Monitoring, Control and Surveillance applications for the maritime sector, including their flagship on-line review platform - Monitor - which provides real-time access to video, GPS tracks and telemetry on any device.
Early adopters of our systems include several of the world’s largest fishing companies; the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); the United States Coast Guard; SERNAPESCA, the Chilean fisheries regulator; and the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources & Agriculture in the Maldives, under a World Bank-funded deployment.
All our projects are delivered in partnership with highly qualified integrators, who handle distribution, installation, and local support.
